Accor’s overwater options extend beyond Sofitel Moorea and Pullman Maamutaa. The best choice depends on whether you want an easy French Polynesian lagoon, a quick Maldives transfer, an all-inclusive island, or a remote reef.

Some former Accor resorts have changed brands, while others remain bookable through ALL. Check the current operator and loyalty terms before relying on an old review.

Which Accor overwater stay fits your trip?

For Moorea: Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea offers overwater bungalows on the Temae lagoon. Ask for the specific bungalow position if shallow-water swimming matters to you.

For a shorter Maldives transfer: SO/ Maldives sells water pool villas in a lagoon near Malé. Confirm the actual boat schedule and whether your category faces the lagoon or open water.

For an all-inclusive Maldives stay: Pullman Maldives Maamutaa offers water villas and Aqua Villas with underwater bedrooms. Its southern location requires a domestic flight and boat, so protect time on arrival and departure days.

More current Accor-branded options

Mercure Maldives Kooddoo is an adults-only resort with overwater villas and a domestic-flight arrival. It is a useful comparison when you want a smaller resort without Pullman’s underwater-bedroom premium.

V Villas Maldives at Mirihi, MGallery Collection also lists overwater villas, including a two-bedroom pool option. Verify live inventory and the room configuration for your dates before making it the basis of a group trip.

Accor’s portfolio changes, and its booking site can include partner brands. Treat these as current examples rather than a fixed count of every room in the group.

ALL listings that need a brand check

Kuredhivaru Resort & Spa no longer uses the Mövenpick name, yet it currently has an ALL listing with overwater pool villas. Ask which points and status benefits apply to your exact rate instead of assuming a former-brand policy still holds.

Angsana Velavaru also appears on ALL and sells InOcean pool villas. Its presence on the booking platform does not make it a Sofitel, Pullman, or Mercure resort; check the booking terms for eligible benefits.

Sirru Fen Fushi is no longer a Fairmont, and The Halcyon Private Isles no longer trades as Raffles Maldives Meradhoo. Book each under its current name and ask the property which benefits, if any, apply.

ALL points are generally used toward eligible bills at a set value rather than through a traditional hotel award chart. Confirm participation and redemption terms for the exact property and rate, especially for an independently branded listing.

Before paying a deposit, confirm the exact villa category, operator, ALL eligibility, full transfer cost, meal-plan coverage, and any construction. A current reservation confirmation is more useful than an old brand name.
