The Two-Bedroom Overwater Sea Loft expands to 1,108 square metres and is presented for four adults plus up to four children. Two master bedrooms, two children’s rooms, twin semi-outdoor bathrooms, private pool, upper dining sala, spa room, gym, slide, and private boat turn it into a genuine floating household.

Horizon Villa or Sea Loft?

The Horizon Overwater Villa is my practical choice for most couples. It delivers the full Soneva toy box while avoiding the psychological and logistical leap of living in a boat-only Sea Loft.

The One-Bedroom Sea Loft is for guests who hear “no jetty” and feel relief rather than alarm. Its private boat access creates extraordinary separation, but every spontaneous island visit involves crew, weather, and a tiny amount of coordination.

The two-bedroom Sea Loft makes sense for a family or two couples who can use its extraordinary floor plan. At 1,108 square metres, it is not an upgrade for better views so much as a decision to rent a miniature private resort.

Ask reservations to explain how Horizon access differs from Sea Loft access on your exact booking. The Horizon page describes boat access, while the Sea Lofts are the category explicitly marketed with private boats, and that operational nuance should not be left to arrival-day interpretation.

Life without a shared jetty

A Sea Loft removes passing bicycles, buggy traffic, and neighboring guests from the doorstep. It also removes the option to walk to breakfast when the sky is pink and everyone else is still deciding whether shoes are a personality flaw.

The Stay Longer on Us offer, valid for eligible 2026 dates, defines Full Board as breakfast, lunch, and dinner with beverages excluded unless stated. It also names 10 percent service charge, 17 percent goods and services tax, and USD 12 nightly Green Tax per person.

Ask whether private-chef service, in-villa meals, destination dining, premium ingredients, alcohol, nonalcoholic drinks, and children’s meals are included. A personalized menu can be deeply accommodating while the personalized bill remains remarkably independent.

Send allergies and dietary needs before travel, then repeat them on arrival. A tiny island can provide extraordinary care, but it cannot create a replacement supply chain between appetizer and main course.

The total cost deserves its own quiet hour

Budget-sensitive travelers should be honest early. The transfer alone can outweigh several nights at another excellent Maldives resort, and extreme privacy is poor value when you would rather spend every day at a busy dive center.

How long should the secret last?
